Khutzeymateen Wilderness Lodge Tour for Two

Climb into the floatplane and take off from Prince Rupert, BC for a 20 minute flight over mountains and inlets to the Khutzeymateen. Join us in Canada's grizzly bear sanctuary as we explore the lush Khutzeymateen inlet and estuary, viewing grizzly bears in their wild habitat. We move with the tides to view and photograph the beauty of the fjord and the rainforest with bald eagles, seals, seabirds, waterfalls and mountains. We are out exploring and bear viewing in our 24 foot roofed zodiac for 6 hours every day. In the summer months (July, August, September) we also explore the coast outside the inlet where humpback whales congregate to feed. At the lodge you can relax by the fire, take out a kayak or paddle board, and have a wood-fired sauna.
